This Saturday, March 2nd, Vinyl Las Vegas will host our Rock N Shave event to raise money for childhood cancer research through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. On February 27th, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino COO Jody Lake agreed to get his head shaved the following morning on Fox 5 news if he received $1000 in donations in support of the event by the end of the day. Jody’s page raised over $1200 in just a few hours. As a result, Jody kept his promise by getting his head shaved on live television!
About the Event:
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity dedicated to raising money for life-saving childhood cancer research and funds more in childhood cancer grants than any organization except for the U.S. government. Because kids with cancer often lose their hair during treatment, “shavees” for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation show their support by shaving their heads voluntarily, and inspiring friends and family to donate money to support childhood cancer research.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is proud to present Rock N Shave to benefit St. Baldrick’s Foundation on Saturday, March 2. The doors for registration will open at 1 p.m. at Vinyl. Shaving kicks off at 2 p.m. and the event will end with a special live performance by the Sin City Sinners.
