Nevada Department of Wildlife biologist Cooper Munson is no stranger to black bears. He regularly takes calls to set traps that are used to capture bears so NDOW can tag the animals as part of an ongoing study and relocate them. In very few cases do state officials kill bears. In the video, Munson fires non-lethal tranquilizers as a way to apprehend the animal so it can be tagged and then released back into the wild.
